Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vitalis Courier Service website at vitaliscouriers.com, together with any bookings, orders, accounts, tools, and services we make available through it (the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Who we are
Vitalis Courier Service is operated by Vitalis Courier Service. We provide the Services described on vitaliscouriers.com. These Terms cover your general use of the Services. Some bookings, orders, or engagements may also be governed by an additional agreement, quote, work order, or policy presented at the point of purchase; where those conflict with these Terms, the more specific document controls for that transaction.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. Where an account is offered, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at dispatch@vitaliscouriers.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, submit false information, or create risk for other customers.
4. Bookings, orders & confirmations
When you submit a booking or order, you are making an offer to purchase the requested Services. A contract forms only when we accept your request, typically by sending a confirmation. Prices, availability, scheduling windows, and scope are as shown at the time of purchase. We may decline or cancel a booking before performance for reasons including unavailability, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inability to safely or lawfully perform the work; if we do, we will refund amounts you paid for the cancelled portion.
5. Pricing, taxes & payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Taxes are calculated based on the service location and applied at checkout. You authorize us to charge the total presented, including any deposits, service fees, and taxes, to your selected payment method.
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers; we receive only limited confirmation data (such as card brand, last four digits, and authorization status). By paying, you also agree to the processor's terms for the payment transaction.
6. Cancellations, changes & refunds
Cancellation and refund rights depend on the specific Service and the policy shown at the time of purchase. Unless a different policy is presented:
- You may request a change or cancellation by contacting us at dispatch@vitaliscouriers.com; we will accommodate reasonable requests where scheduling and resourcing allow.
- Deposits may be non-refundable where we have reserved time, staff, equipment, or materials on your behalf.
- If we cancel or fail to perform a confirmed Service for reasons within our control, you are entitled to a refund or, at your option, rescheduling.
- Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation right you have under the law of NC or the state where the Service is performed.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to cooperate as reasonably needed for us to perform the Services, and to use the Services lawfully. You will not misuse the Services, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape at scale, or submit content or instructions that are unlawful or that you lack the right to provide. Additional acceptable-use rules appear in our Acceptable Use Policy below.
8. Intellectual property
The Vitalis Courier Service name, logo, website, content, and underlying materials are owned by Vitalis Courier Service or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Services without our written permission. Any content you submit remains yours, but you grant us the license needed to operate the Services and perform your requested work.
9. Third-party services
The Services may rely on or link to third parties (for example, payment processing, mapping, scheduling, or messaging providers). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or performance of third parties, and your use of their services is governed by their terms. References to third parties are not endorsements.
10. Disclaimers
Except where we expressly state otherwise in writing, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every expectation. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vitalis Courier Service and its owners, staff, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim or one hundred US dollars ($100). Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vitalis Courier Service and its owners, staff, and contractors from third-party claims arising out of your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or content or instructions you provide, subject to the limitation of liability above.
13. Governing law & state-specific rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of NC, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts located in NC have jurisdiction over any matter not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution.
Vitalis Courier Service serves customers in NC. Nothing in these Terms waives the non-waivable consumer protections of the state where you reside or where the Service is performed. Where your state's mandatory consumer law conflicts with these Terms, that law controls for you to the extent of the conflict.
14. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, communicated to account holders. Continued use of the Services after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Service-Specific Terms
Non-emergency transport only
Vitalis Courier Service provides non-emergency medical transportation only. We do NOT provide ambulance, paramedic, or emergency medical services and cannot respond to medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. Our drivers are trained for safe transport and assistance but are not medical providers and do not deliver clinical care during transport.
Rider condition & assistance level
Bookings must accurately describe the rider's mobility and assistance needs (ambulatory, wheelchair, stretcher, oxygen, or door-to-door support). We rely on this information to dispatch the right vehicle and staff. If the rider's actual condition exceeds the booked assistance level or requires care we cannot safely provide, we may decline or reschedule transport for the rider's safety. You are responsible for any medical equipment the rider needs that we have not agreed in writing to supply.
Accessibility & non-discrimination (ADA)
Vitalis Courier Service is committed to accessible, non-discriminatory service consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act and applicable state law. We provide wheelchair-accessible vehicles where booked, accommodate service animals, and will work with you on reasonable accommodations. Tell us about accommodation needs when you book so we can dispatch appropriate equipment and staff.
Health information & privacy
To arrange transport we may receive limited health-related information (such as mobility needs, appointment type, or facility). We treat this information as confidential and use it only to schedule and perform transport, coordinate with facilities or payers you authorize, and meet legal obligations. Where we handle protected health information on behalf of a covered entity, we do so under the applicable business-associate terms and apply HIPAA-aligned safeguards. We do not sell health information.
Scheduling, no-shows & payers
Rides are scheduled for a pickup window; please be ready on time, as delays affect other riders. No-show and late-cancellation fees may apply as disclosed at booking. Where a third party (such as a health plan, broker, or facility) is responsible for payment, you remain responsible for charges they decline that are not covered by an authorization.
Privacy Policy
1. Scope & who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Vitalis Courier Service, operating as Vitalis Courier Service ("we," "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website at vitaliscouriers.com and our Services. We are the data controller for the information we collect from our customers. By using the Services you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to provide and improve the Services:
- Contact & account details: name, email, phone, mailing or service address, and any account credentials (passwords are stored hashed).
- Booking & order details: the Services you request, scheduling, service locations, preferences, and history.
- Payment information: processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive confirmation and limited metadata (card brand, last four digits, authorization status) -- never your full card number.
- Communications: messages you send us, support requests, and your contact and marketing preferences.
- Device & usage data: IP address, device and browser type, and interaction events, collected to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
- Location data: approximate location derived from your address or IP to schedule and route service; precise location only where you provide it.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to create and secure your account; provide, schedule, and perform the Services; process payments and refunds; communicate with you about bookings and support; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with legal and tax obligations; and -- where permitted -- send service updates and marketing you can opt out of. We do not use your information for purposes incompatible with those for which you provided it.
6. Hosting & processors
Our website and Services are hosted on the IQCloud platform, which runs on Microsoft Azure. These providers act as our data processors: they host and transmit data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations and do not use it for their own purposes. We remain responsible to you for how your information is handled.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here -- typically the life of your relationship with us plus the period required for tax, accounting, warranty, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations. Transaction and tax records may be retained longer where law requires. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
8. How we protect information
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, isolate secrets in a managed key vault, restrict access by role, and apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a breach affecting your personal information as required by applicable law.
9. Your privacy rights
We extend the core rights to access, correct, and delete your personal information, and to opt out of marketing, to all customers regardless of where you live. Depending on your state, you may also have specific statutory rights -- for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the New York SHIELD Act, and the D.C. Consumer Protection Procedures Act -- including the rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising (which we do not do), and appeal a declined request. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We serve customers in NC and honor these rights consistent with the law that applies to you.
10. How to exercise your rights
Email dispatch@vitaliscouriers.com or use any privacy controls we provide. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the time your state law requires (generally 45 days, extendable once when reasonably necessary). You may appeal a denial by replying to our decision; if an appeal is denied you may contact your state attorney general. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
11. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.
12. Changes & contact
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, communicated to you. Continued use of the Services after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance.
Privacy questions or requests: dispatch@vitaliscouriers.com. Effective 2026-08-25.
Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets the rules for using the Vitalis Courier Service website at vitaliscouriers.com, accounts, and Services. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By using the Services you agree to this AUP. We may update it as our Services evolve; the current version always governs.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must meet the eligibility requirements in our Terms and provide accurate information. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account, and do not create accounts using automated means or false identities.
3. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the Services to:
- Break the law, or facilitate illegal activity, in NC or anywhere you use the Services.
- Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights, or submit content you lack the right to share.
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, probe or scan our systems, or interfere with the integrity, security, or availability of the Services.
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data at scale, or circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
- Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information, including fraudulent bookings, payments, or chargebacks.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse our staff, contractors, or other customers, or engage in discriminatory or hateful conduct.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services except as we expressly permit.
4. Content & submissions
You are responsible for the content you submit (messages, photos, documents, instructions, reviews). Content must be accurate, lawful, and yours to share. We may remove content that violates this AUP or the law, and we may decline or stop work that would require us to act unlawfully or unsafely. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so to enforce this AUP.
5. Automated & AI-assisted features
Some Services use automated or AI-assisted features (for example, estimates, recommendations, scheduling, or chat). You may not use these features to generate unlawful content, to attempt to extract confidential prompts or systems, to overwhelm them with automated traffic, or in any way that violates the usage policies of the underlying providers. AI-assisted outputs are provided to help you and may contain errors; they are not a substitute for professional advice and should not be your sole basis for a material decision.
6. Security & integrity
Do not attempt to defeat, disable, or test the security of the Services without our prior written consent. Report vulnerabilities responsibly to dispatch@vitaliscouriers.com. Do not introduce code, traffic, or activity designed to disrupt, degrade, or gain unauthorized access to the Services or to other customers' data.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take action proportionate to the conduct, including warning you, removing content, limiting or suspending features, cancelling bookings without refund where the violation caused the cancellation, or suspending or terminating your account. For serious, repeated, or willful violations we may act without prior notice and may report unlawful conduct to the authorities. Where practical and the violation is not severe, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to remediate.
8. Reporting & contact
To report a violation of this AUP, or for questions about acceptable use, contact us at dispatch@vitaliscouriers.com. Effective 2026-08-25.
